Can I change the platform I want to use to take part in the test after I've applied?
You cannot change the platform you want to play on after your application is made.
Is it possible to unlink a CAPCOM ID from a platform account once they've been linked?
In order to play the closed beta test, your CAPCOM ID is required to be linked to an account for your desired platform, so we ask that you please refrain from unlinking them.

Note: While it is possible to unlink a CAPCOM ID from an account for your desired platform/hardware, you will be unable to attach that CAPCOM ID to another account for that same platform.
Note: Please be aware that your application will be cancelled if you delete your CAPCOM ID account after applying for the test.
What modes will be playable? Will offline play be possible?
Only the Battle Hub mode will be available, although you will be able to access the training mode while waiting for a match through Standby Matchmaking. Offline play will not be possible during the test.
Can I buy Fighter Coins?
Fighter Coins cannot be purchased during the closed beta test. A fixed amount can be acquired in-game though.
Can I remake (or tweak) my avatar?
Your avatar cannot be remade in the closed beta test.
Can I play against players in different regions?
Yes, you can.
Can I play against players on different platforms?
Yes, you can.
Can I chat with players who are playing in a different language?
Yes, you can.
Will anything from the test be carried over to the full release?
Data, such as your avatar and save data, will not be carried over to the full release.
However, the link made between your CAPCOM ID and your chosen platform account used to access the closed beta test will carry over for the full release.
Are there any plans to open up applications for additional testers for the closed beta test in the future?
At present we have no plans to open applications again for additional testers, but please also be aware that some applicants may be notified of their selection later than others.
How will we be notified if we're selected to take part in the closed beta test?
Those who are selected to participate will have a notification mail sent to the email address used to register their CAPCOM ID. This email will function as notice of your selection for the test. Please understand that we will not respond to every application.

Note: Please make sure that the email address registered to your CAPCOM ID can receive emails from us beforehand. If you have filters applied to your mail service, please either remove the filters, or add @cid.capcom.com to your list of authorized domains.
Note: As we will be sending out a series of emails, please be sure to update your CAPCOM ID account information if you change your email address.
Do I need to have an active PlayStation®Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription to take part in the closed beta test?
Those without an active PlayStation®Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription will still be able to enjoy online play for the test.
What languages will be supported for the closed beta test?
The following languages will be supported:
English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Arabic, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean
Note: The full release will also support these languages.

Note: Support for the closed beta test will only be available in English and Japanese.
What are the hardware or system requirements to take part in the closed beta test?
The following are required to take part in the closed beta test:
- A usable broadband internet connection
- A PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, or a PC that meets the system requirements outlined below
Note: In order to play the Steam version the Steam client must be installed on your PC.
Note: You will need 25 GB or more space available on your PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.

  • Caution for players registering as a Steam user
    Please ensure that you are using the latest graphics drivers if your PC has an AMD CPU Radeon series graphics board.

  • If you are using anti-virus software, please include this game and related files and folders to the exclusion list.

    There is a possibility that the game does not boot up to to the anti-virus software falsely flagging the game as a virus. In order to prevent this from occuring, please add the following files and folders to your anti-virus software and firewall exclusion list. If you have already done so, please remove it and add it back again.

How can I check the specs of my computer?
You can use the DirectX Diagnostic Tool included in Windows to confirm the full details of your PC's specifications.
To start the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, double-click on the 'dxdiag.exe' program in the following folder.

Folder name: C:\Windows\System32

If you would like to save all of the information displayed to a text file then you can click the 'Save All Information...' button in the bottom-right corner of the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
How do we claim the bonus gift for taking part in the Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta Test?
Once Street Fighter 6 is released, linking the full release with the same CAPCOM ID used to take part in the closed beta test will grant you access to the bonus gift.

Note: Linking the full release to a CAPCOM ID different to the one used to take part in the closed beta test will not grant you access to the bonus gift, so please be careful.
Does it cost anything to take part in the closed beta test?
It is completely free to participate in the test itself, however, in order to play the test an internet connection is required. Any costs associated with any utilities or hardware used to take part in the test are the participant's responsibility.

Points to Note

  • - Participation in the closed beta test requires agreement to abide by the 'Street Fighter 6 Closed Beta Test Agreement'.
  • - Changes may be made to the closed beta test schedule depending on various circumstances.
  • - There is a chance of unexpected bugs occurring, or that the play experience is diminished by network stress during the test. In some cases the test may also be suspended in order to carry out emergency maintenance.
  • - The closed beta test is representative of a game still in development and will differ from the full release.
  • - Please be aware that although the closed beta test may not operate as intended, or that bugs may occur, individual support will not be provided to address these cases.
  • - We are unable to answer any inquiries regarding the selection process or selection results.
  • - It is not possible to change the information entered during the application process after your application has been submitted.
  • - Only one application can be submitted per CAPCOM ID.
  • - Communications regarding the closed beta test (such as selection notifications) and the full release will be sent to the email address registered to your CAPCOM ID.
  • - The transfer, lending, or buying and selling of closed beta test access and data is strictly prohibited.
  • - You are permitted to stream or upload footage of the closed beta test as long as the official Capcom Video Policy is followed.
